We invest in the community that has invested in us.

Winston-Salem has been our home since 1985. Giving back is a part of our mission. We believe that to whom much is given, much is expected.

Our firm and our team members are active supporters of a wide range of community organizations and causes across Forsyth and Davie Counties, and throughout the Triad. The list below is a partial one, but it reflects the places where we show up most consistently.

Brenner Children’s Hospital.

A pediatric hospital that has become a cornerstone cause for our family and our firm.

Brenner Children’s Hospital provides extraordinary pediatric care to children across the Piedmont Triad and beyond. Our support of Brenner has deepened steadily over the years. The firm has been a longstanding sponsor of the Cheers! event, the annual benefit gala that raises essential funds for the hospital, and in 2024, the Woodard family served on the Cheers! committee.

In 2025, the Woodard family served as Co-Chairs of the Cheers! event. The event drew a committed audience of supporters from across the Triad and contributed meaningfully to the ongoing work of Brenner and its mission. We were honored to serve in that role.

Our partnership with Brenner continues in a new form in Spring 2027, when Woodard & Company plans to host the first Brenner Children’s 5K, a 5K and one-mile fun run with all proceeds benefiting the hospital. Details on our Events page.

Active engagement with the Davie Community Foundation, which connects local philanthropy with the needs and aspirations of Davie County residents. Former sponsor of the Sounds of Summer series.

Samaritan’s Purse

One of our most consistently supported partners. The international Christian relief organization, headquartered in Boone, North Carolina, provides aid to people in physical need across the world while sharing a message of hope.

The Salvation Army

Sponsor of the Hands and Hearts initiative serving families across our region.

Hospice of Davie County

Support for compassionate end-of-life care for patients and their families.

Cancer Services

Support for the nonprofit providing practical assistance to cancer patients and their families in Forsyth and Stokes Counties.

Just Hope

Support for this international development organization and its work building sustainable local economies.

YMCA

Support for the local YMCA and its work serving youth, families, and seniors across the Triad.

P4 13 Ministry

Support for youth ministry and the development of character, leadership, and faith in young people.

Smith Grove Fire & Rescue

Local support for the first responders who serve our home community in Davie County.

CROP Hunger Walk

Annual participation in the Winston-Salem CROP Walk to address hunger and food insecurity locally and globally.

Sally’s Angels

Support for this local organization and its mission, alongside Forsyth Country Day School (FCDS) and youth athletic teams throughout Forsyth and Davie Counties.

Other involvements.

Our team members serve on the boards of local civic, educational, and charitable organizations, support programs that address food security, educational access, and the arts, and participate regularly in events and activities that strengthen the fabric of our region. We do so because we believe that the health of any private practice is, in the long run, inseparable from the health of the community in which it operates.
